Ken, Ed and Gene Kelly purchase their father's share of Kelly Bros.

Fire destroys the original Kelly Bros. warehouse. More than half the inventory and warehouse space is lost.

Steve Kelly graduates from Western Kentucky University and joins Kelly Bros full time.

Generational 'changing of the guard.' Ed Kelly retires, and his son, Steve takes over as vice president and secretary-treasurer of Kelly Bros. Mike Coppage, Ken Kelly's son-in-law, takes over Ken's duties at Kelly Bros. Ken maintains his position as president of the company.

Leasing arrangement with railroad ends with purchase of business site from CSX. Fire destroys nearly half of Kelly Bros. inventory and warehouse space just as it did in 1959.

New 11,000 square foot office-showroom complex opens.

Kelly Bros. celebrates 50 years of business.

- Steve Kelly serves as President of Kentucky Building Material Association.
- Kitchen and Bath Design Center is revamped and doubles in size.

Kelly Bros. acquires Dry Ridge Lumber Co.

- Brandon Coppage graduates from the University of Kentucky and joins Kelly Bros. full time.
- Design center undergoes growth and remodeling to now occupy 5,000 sq ft of retail space.

Owen County Building Supply opens in April of 2005 becoming the Kelly Bros. third location.

| 2006 |
Steve Kelly named Pro Sales Public Service Leader.
